1. Montalvo Arts Summer Camp
Montalvo Arts Center is sponsoring a children’s camp for the fourth year in a row. They are offering a one- and two-week camp for children focusing on music, dance, culinary arts, theatre, design, visual arts, and world culture. Classes start as early as June 10, and the last one ends on August 16. Registration begins on February 22. 2. Almaden Winery Park Reopening
After large sections of the park were closed for construction and renovation, the Almaden Winery Park will be reopening for full use! Join District 10 Councilman Johnny Khamis and the Almaden Winery community as we celebrate on February 23 from 11am-1pm. The park is located at 1530 Blossom Hill Road, near Chambertin.
3. Spay / Neuter Month
February is spay / neuter month at the Humane Society Silicon Valley. They, along with 25 veterinarians, are offering discounts to encourage the public to spay or neuter their pet in order to prevent unwanted litters. Cats will cost $50, dogs under 50 pounds will be $80, and dogs over 50 pounds will be $100. These prices include a pre-op exam, anesthetic, nail trim, hospitalization, pain medication, and of course the spaying or neutering.
