It’s yet another sign that the Bay Area’s housing market is recovering. At the end of 2012, Santa Clara County saw the number of homes underwater drop from 22% to 15% from a year prior. While the numbers are encouraging, that negative equity is keeping many homes off the market, forcing buyers to scramble to purchase anything that is for sale. Posted on February 18, 2013 by Joey.
The recent housing bubble was caused in large part to home buyers overextending and over-leveraging themselves. Would it surprise you to learn that, once again, 100% financing is starting to make a return? On the surface, it would appear that perhaps we didn’t learn from our mistakes. New mortgage rules designed to protect consumers
Posted on February 07, 2013 by Joey.
